Activity Planner

Description:

This routine creates a product containing daily maximum temperature (degrees F), minimum temperature (degrees F), precipitation (inches), new snowfall (inches) and depth of snow on the ground (inches) for the same day for a series of years. These variables are displayed for a selected station, date and range of years. The user also has the option to display the recorded maximum temperature for the day or use the maximum temperature recorded on the following day. The latter option is useful for weather stations that employ a morning time of observation. Precipitation, snowfall and snow depth may show a value of "Trace". Asterisks (***) indicate missing data.

The product header preceding the data includes the station name and state. The ID is the cooperative station number. Latitude and longitude are specified in decimal degrees (north for latitude and west for longitude). Elevation is the height of the station in feet above sea level.

Following the table of daily values are several lines of summary statistics.
